Why a House Raffle?
Like so many families, we’ve felt the challenges of the current housing market. We put our property in Rhoscolyn on the market for over a year, and while there was interest, the sale never came together. Even after dropping the price, we found ourselves stuck — and with rising costs, it became harder and harder to manage.
We looked into a traditional auction but soon realised that it didn’t feel quite right for us. That’s when the idea of a house raffle came up. At first it felt a little crazy, but the more we thought about it, the more sense it made. Instead of waiting endlessly for a buyer, why not give someone the chance to win a home outright — mortgage-free, with no legal fees?
For us, it’s about turning a difficult situation into a positive one. Yes, it’s a huge leap of faith, but the thought of being able to hand over the keys to someone who might never otherwise get the chance to own a coastal home here is what makes it so exciting.
A raffle means this isn’t just another property transaction — it’s a life-changing opportunity. And knowing that this special place could become part of another family’s story makes all the hard work worthwhile.
How the Raffle Works
Entering the raffle is simple. Each ticket you buy is a chance to win our coastal Rhoscolyn home. You can buy as many tickets as you like, and we’ve put together some great bundles so the more you buy, the better value you get.
At the end of the raffle, one lucky winner will be chosen at random through Raffall’s secure system. If we reach our target, the winner will receive the property completely mortgage-free, with no legal fees to pay — it really is that straightforward.
What if the Target isn’t Reached?
If we don’t hit the ticket sales target, Raffall guarantees that the winner will still receive a cash prize equal to 50% of the ticket revenue instead. Raffall take 10% and the rest goes to Jennie & John to Cover marketing costs. This way, no matter what happens, someone will walk away a winner.
When Does the Raffle end?
Thursday, 1st January 2026 at 16:00 or when the last ticket is sold (whichever comes sooner)
Minimum Ticket Target
A minimum of 150,000 tickets need to be sold for the main prize to be given. If less than 150,000 tickets are sold, the winner will receive a cash payment amounting to 50% of the total ticket revenue generated for this competition.
